As Apkudo CTO, Nicholas’ job is to get inside the heads of mobile application developers (and also get out again). Before becoming Apkudo's CTO, Nicholas spent the last several years working with the ERTOS group at the prestigious National ICT Australia (NICTA), researching software component optimization. He also worked at NICTA as a developer, and at Open Kernel Labs working on microkernel-based mobile virtualization. Previously, Nicholas worked in software development at financial software company CommSecure.

His earliest and perhaps most controversial work occurred at the tender age of five when he engineered a cardboard robot replete with blinking eyes and a cassette recorder hidden within the robot’s head, blowing the minds of the neighborhood children.

Nathan is the CEO and chief developer at CritterMap Software. He is the author of BackCountry Navigator, the best-selling outdoor GPS application for Android, which has recently been featured as the number-one paid app in the Travel and Local category.

Back when he had a day job, Nathan worked for Hewlett-Packard as a software engineer for 12 years. When that job ended, Nathan decided to build an online business through Android apps instead of contracting or getting a “real” job.
