Google continues to improve its developer tools so they can build secure applications for Android. With the Google Play App Security Improvement Program, developers are able to see security tips and identify potential security enhancements when the applications are uploaded to Google Play.

Google Play Services Gets a Power-Up

It looks like Google picked the Game Developers Conference to drop some hot new developer tools for the Google Play Store. Google Play services 7.0 will roll out over the next couple of weeks, bringing improvements to location settings, Google Fit, integration with AdMob, and the brand new Places API.
